BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A man was shot and killed on the 1000 block of Grant Street on Monday afternoon, Buffalo Police said.
Officers responded to the scene around 2:30 p.m. Officers found a male victim with a gunshot wound to the chest; first responders rendered aid but the victim died at the scene, officials said.
Homicide detectives are investigating, and the Buffalo Police Department said it has been in contact with the Cheektowaga Police Department. Anyone with any information regarding this incident is asked to call or text 911 or the Buffalo Police confidential tip line at 716-847-2255.
