Buffalo Biodiesel executive cited after Tesla found abandoned in Niagara Square

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)– Buffalo Police say an executive for Buffalo Biodiesel was cited with four traffic violations after allegedly abandoning an unlocked Tesla by Niagara Square near City Hall, with a loaded handgun and a bottle of medication inside – items police said belonged to a former narcotics chief for the Erie County Sheriff’s Office.

Thomas George Jr., the chief operating officer for Buffalo Biodiesel, was ticketed for failing to keep right, improper left turn on two-way road, failure to stop at a stop sign, and leaving the scene of an accident that caused property damage. George previously served as acting deputy supervisor for the Town of Evans.

Buffalo Police provided four summonses to News 4 Investigates through a Freedom of Information law request, but they do not include any narrative about the chain of events…
