A dilapidated single-family home at 22 Dart Street would be replaced by eight studio apartments under plans by Secure Path Property Solutions. The unusual project would see a single-story cottage style building constructed on the narrow 30-ft by 113-ft lot. The project requires a variance for excess density, based on parcel size, three units are permitted.
Designed by Boulder, Co-based Fjall Arkitekt, the units would be laid out motel style, each with a covered porch off a side walkway. Apartments would have approximately 200 sq.ft. of living space with a walk-in closet and stacked washer and dryer.
