POLICE AUDIO CAN BE FOUND AT THE END OF THIS ARTICLE: Law enforcement received a call around 1:21pm on July 18th after reports of menacing with a weapon on 21st and Niagara Street in Niagara Falls.
The 911 caller told dispatch that there was an adult male chasing small young girls with a machete. He was going down 22nd between Ferry and Niagara Street. The caller further told police that the suspect entered Frenchy’s pizzeria with the machete where he remained.
Multiple police units responded to the scene. Law enforcement arrived at Frenchy’s on Niagara Street and located the male who was taken into custody within minutes of the initial call. No further information is available at this time…
