BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Buffalo Zoo welcomed two red panda cubs into the world last month, helping protect the endangered species.
The cubs were born to parents 3-year-old Himalaya and 5-year-old Mogwai. Zoo leaders said the cubs are being cared for behind the scenes and are not yet visible to the public.
The cubs do not have confirmed names as of yet. As the 14th and 15th red panda cubs born at the zoo, they are the second litter born to Himalaya and Mogwai.
