BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A free family movie night series is set to return to two Buffalo parks next month.
The series, presented by the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy, takes place over four nights in two parks. Each screening goes from around 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with movies beginning at sunset.
“Buffalo’s parks are some of our community’s greatest assets, and programs like Family Movie Night help bring neighbors together in a welcoming and affordable way,” Assemblymember Jon Rivera said.
Prospect Park
- Aug. 14 — The Wild Robot
- Aug. 28 — The Princess and the Frog
Riverside Park
- Aug. 21 — Up
- Sept. 4 — The Mitchells vs. the Machines
Admission is free. Organizers recommend bringing a picnic blanket, lawn chairs, and snacks.
