BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — One day after a Buffalo man was accused of assaulting a Buffalo police officer and four others were charged with disorderly conduct, employees at a local bakery are disputing those accusations.
Officers responded to the 500 block of Niagara Street following the Puerto Rican and Hispanic Day Parade on Saturday, where officials allege that Carlos Martinez Rosario, 40, of Buffalo, put his hands on an officer, grabbed an officer’s belt, “removing a department issued magazine from the belt and repeatedly grasping at the duty belt that secures the officer’s gun and taser.”
Officials said one officer was treated for a concussion after being hit in the head with a bottle, and they said another officer suffered a broken hand. Both have since been released from the Erie County Medical Center…
