BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — St. Mary & St. Moses Coptic Orthodox Church in North Tonawanda will be hosting its annual Egyptian Festival this weekend. This year marks 17 years of the festival, which will run from 3-9 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Saturday and 12-8 p.m. on Sunday.
Organizers are promoting the experience of “thousands of years of faith, culture, and history” without leaving Western New York. Included at the festival will be handmade Egyptian food and desserts, hand-crafted artwork, jewelry, and iconography, Christian and Coptic literature, and educational live presentations on the history of the Coptic Orthodox Church.
