BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — One person is seriously injured following a crash in the town of Newfane Friday evening, according to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the crash happened around 6 p.m. Friday on the 7000 block of Ridge Road. According to investigators, a pickup truck was going south on Ridge Road when it veered off the road and hit an unoccupied car. A passenger in the pickup truck suffered serious injuries and was taken by Mercy Flight to the Erie County Medical Center.
