Jan Burns’ family dog, Cinnamon, a 6-year-old golden doodle, suffered an unusual medical scare last year.
“Cinnamon was really lethargic,” Burns said. “And eventually she was standing, and her legs just like slowly went out from under her and she couldn’t get up.”
