BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — An Amherst woman who was shot by police last October pleaded guilty to menacing charges earlier this week, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office said Thursday.
Tonisha Green, 27, was shot by Amherst officers on Oct. 28, 2025 at Colonie Apartments on Sweet Home Road and Durham Drive after she ignored commands to put down a knife she was holding while threatening officers and then charged at them. The shooting was determined to be justified.
