BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Canadian rock band Triumph is returning to the stage this summer and will be passing through Darien Lake as part of their Rock & Roll Machine Reloaded tour, their first North American tour in 38 years.
The band announced the return to the stage in December and last week, drummer Gil Moore spoke with WIVB about the show.

He said the process of returning included a lot of “stepping stones,” beginning with the release of the documentary “Triumph: Rock & Roll Machine” in 2021. This spurred the release of a tribute album in 2025, “Magic Power: All Star Tribute to Triumph,” featuring artists like Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider, Heart’s Nancy Wilson, and Jefferson Starship’s Mickey Thomas playing Triumph’s hits.
Moore said the tribute album got fans stoked and the band’s social media “went from a steady stream to becoming kind of a tsunami.” He said the biggest factor in the band’s return was the use of their music during the 2025 NHL playoffs and performing during game two of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final in Edmonton, which triggered outreach from Live Nation regarding a tour…
