West Seneca to close Harlem Road Park bathrooms early due to multiple vandalism incidents

WEST SENECA, N.Y. — West Seneca officials are changing the hours of facilities at Harlem Road Park after multiple recent incidents of vandalism across the town.

West Seneca Superintendent of Highways Brian Adams said in a social media post on Monday that the bathrooms at Harlem Park Road will be closing earlier after vandalism at the park. Pictures on Adams’ post show tire tracks throughout the park, causing ruts which have since filled with mud and water.

Adams said in the post, “Unfortunately, there has been a recent uptick in vandalism at several of our Town parks and restroom facilities. This is extremely disappointing, as our Buildings & Grounds staff take great pride in maintaining our parks and keeping them clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone in the community.”…
