WATCH: Florida super speeder arrested for driving 60 mph over speed limit, deputies say

LEE COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A Lehigh Acres man was arrested on a super speeding charge after deputies caught him driving 60 miles per hour over the posted speed limit, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said Jonathan Rivera, 24, was caught clocked driving 105 mph on Lee Boulevard Wednesday morning.

Body camera video shows a deputy asking Rivera to step out of his car and immediately placed him in handcuffs.

“I know you’re sorry,” the deputy said. “You’re sorry because you got caught. That’s the problem, so now, you’re going to jail…
