FORT MYERS, Fla. — Outside of a few coastal showers this evening, expect a mostly dry Wednesday night for the Gulf Coast. One more night of lower dewpoints and humidity will make it feel comfortable and coolish tonight. Expect overnight lows to settle in the middle 60s.
Moisture will increase on Thursday, which will help to spark isolated showers by the afternoon. Thunderstorms are unlikely as available moisture will still be relatively modest, but a few spots could see some localized downpours. Highs are expected to peak in the mid-80s.
Highs will continue to climb daily, and by the weekend, expect highs near 90 degrees. Rain chances will be fairly low through the weekend, with only a 10-20% chance of rain Saturday and Sunday.
