Cape Coral man arrested for theft and drug offenses

CAPE CORAL, Florida — A 32-year-old man from Cape Coral has been arrested following multiple theft incidents and drug-related offenses, according to the Cape Coral Police Department.

Jeno Nicholas Naples, born April 29, 1994, was involved in thefts on May 12 and May 13, 2026. On May 12, officers responded to a theft at a Target on 1890 NE Pine Island Road around 6:50 p.m. Naples reportedly entered a fitting room with merchandise and left wearing clothing and shoes he had not purchased, bypassing self-checkout and exiting the store with $128.99 worth of stolen goods.

The following day, at approximately 10:58 p.m., officers were called to a theft in progress at a RaceTrac located at 3010 NE Pine Island Road. Store personnel reported a suspect taking merchandise without payment. Upon arrival, officers detained Naples on the property.
