Police: Man charged with strangulation, criminal confinement after attack

LEBANON, Ind. — A Lebanon man was arrested after an alleged domestic attack on Monday.

Marcus Dains, 28, was preliminarily charged with the following:

  • Intimidation with a deadly weapon, a Level 5 Felony
  • Strangulation Resulting in Physical Symptoms/Injury, a Level 6 Felony
  • Strangulation, a Level 6 Felony
  • Criminal Confinement, a Level 6 Felony
  • Pointing a Firearm, a Level 6 Felony
  • Domestic Battery, a Class A Misdmeanor

Officers from the Lebanon Police Department were dispatched on Monday at approximately 10:30 p.m. to the Canterbury Apartments on a report of a domestic incident.
