(NEXSTAR) – It may have slid down the rankings as America’s favorite gas station for food and lack an oversized statue of its mascot, but Casey’s is gearing up for a massive expansion in the coming months.
The Iowa-based convenience store chain can already be found in 19 states, primarily throughout the Midwest and Plains. Casey’s had “another record fiscal year,” Darren Rebelez, president and CEO, said, and expects more growth for fiscal year 2027.
That includes a plan to “open at least 120 stores in fiscal 2027,” the company said in a recent earnings call. These new stores are anticipated to be spurred by construction and mergers or acquisitions.
