HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA) – The Indiana Department of Natural Resources recently announced that the Kil-So-Quah Recreation Area campground will be closing indefinitely at 2 p.m. on June 29.
According to the department, the decision follows ‘a thorough evaluation of the campground, including public safety considerations and maintenance needs’.
The department says the rest of J.E. Roush Lake Fish & Wildlife Area will remain open, and campers can continue to enjoy nearby DNR properties including Chain O’Lakes State Park, Mississinewa Lake, Ouabache State Park, and Salamonie Lake…
