First Alert Forecast: Dry start to week. Rain, thunderstorms returning

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The rain has moved out as of Sunday afternoon, and we will get a bit of a break before it returns.

Overnight into Monday morning, the weather will be calm and morning lows on Monday will be in the low 50s. So, a bit of a chilly start to the day for this time of year. During the afternoon, plenty of sunshine, but still a bit cool for this time of year with highs in the low-to-mid 70s.

Tuesday is our next chance for hit-and miss rain showers and a few thunderstorms. Right now, this looks to happen in the afternoon hours. One or two of the thunderstorms could be on the strong/severe side with wind gusts being the main concern. Afternoon temperatures will be in the mid 70s…
