INDIANAPOLIS — While Sunday is Father’s Day and the first day of summer, it is also the third day in a week that has seen severe weather blow through the Hoosier state.
Showers and storms are moving in from the west and we will have a risk for severe storms on Sunday evening. The noisiest storms will come with an isolated wind and tornado threat and there have already been three confirmed tornadoes across southern Illinois on Sunday afternoon.
Strong to severe storms will bring heavy rain tonight
A Tornado Watch has now been issued for most central Indiana counties. It is expected to remain in effect until 12 a.m.
