INDIANAPOLIS — A teenager who was arrested last week in connection with several search warrants being served at homes located on Indy’s south side and Greenwood is now being charged as an adult.
According to court documents obtained by FOX59/CBS4, 17-year-old Moses Sang has been waived to adult court as he faces a Level 5 Felony charge for dangerous possession of a firearm. Meanwhile, Joshua Luna faces a preliminary charge for possession of a machine gun, which is a Level 5 Felony. Luna turned 18 in June.
7 arrested following shots fired incidents
The two teens were among seven total arrests that IMPD reported following multiple search warrants that were conducted on July 2. Sang was one of six people arrested after one of the warrants was executed in the 7000 block of Beal Lane.
The police report indicated that a different 17-year-old was arrested on the following preliminary charges:
- Dangerous Possession of a Firearm by a Minor (Level 5 Felony)
- Handgun Altered (Level 5 Felony)
- Possession of Marijuana (Class B Misdemeanor)
Additionally, a 16-year-old, two 18-year-olds, and a 20-year-old were arrested on misdemeanor charges for marijuana possession.
