INDIANAPOLIS — Visitors to the 2026 Indiana State Fair will find nearly 50 new food and beverage creations when the annual event opens Tuesday, Aug. 7, with vendors introducing everything from inventive burgers and loaded fries to tropical drinks and deep-fried desserts.
The fair runs through Aug. 23 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, with the grounds closed on Mondays. Throughout the event, fairgoers can vote for their favorite new menu items in the annual Taste of the Fair competition, with the top three selections highlighted during the fair’s final week.
This year’s lineup features a wide range of savory offerings, including a jalapeño-packed Honeybun Burger from McWaters Concessions, General Tso-style bison fries, bourbon chicken fries, pickle pizza, Mexican street corn pizza, chili-lime smoked chicken, vegan sliders and the towering World’s Tallest Fry.
