Almost two years after plans were approved for a Meijer Grocery at Southeastern Parkway and Cyntheanne Road, the company has announced that it’s hiring about 200 full- and part-time positions as it gets ready to open the new store.
The 75,000 square-foot store will be the second Meijer Grocery in Indiana — a smaller concept that focuses on groceries, pharmacy, health and beauty, and baby and pet supplies. Traditional Meijer supercenters also have clothing, home decor and other items found in larger department stores.
According to an announcement from Meijer, the new Meijer Grocery and adjacent Meijer Express gas station will open this fall. A date was not specified…
