Storm watch until 2 a.m. for parts of northern and central Indiana

NORMAL, Oklahoma (WISH) — A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for parts of northern and central Indiana until 2 a.m. Tuesday from the National Weather Service Severe Storm Prediction Center.

Primary threats will be damaging straight-line winds up to 70 mph and isolated large hail up to the size of pingpong balls.

The watch does not include Indianapolis, but does include the county north of Indianapolis, including the cities of Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville and Westfield. The storm watch also includes the cities of Kokomo, Muncie ana Richmond in central Indiana, and Fort Wayne, Gary and South Bend in northern Indiana…
