INDIANA (WSBT 22) — Severe storms tore through parts of northern Indiana and southwest Michigan Tuesday, toppling trees, blocking roads and leaving thousands without power.
Dozens of reports of storm damage came in as powerful winds and lightning swept across the region.
Photos and videos showed large trees and limbs brought down by the storms, with some falling onto roads and property. Lightning was also reported striking trees, buildings and the ground.
