A nearly three-year nationwide manhunt ended in Jasper County on Wednesday afternoon when federal agents captured one of the nation’s most wanted fugitives without incident.
Gregory Henderson, Jr., 46, of Indianapolis, Indiana, was arrested at 1:55 p.m. CST on August 12 in Louin, Mississippi, by members of the FBI’s Jackson Field Office. Henderson, who had been on the run since August 2023, was captured less than 24 hours after being named the 542nd addition to the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.
Following his capture, Henderson made an initial appearance in a Mississippi federal court on August 13. He remains in federal custody in Mississippi pending extradition to Indiana, where he faces prosecution in the Southern District of Indiana…
