BEDFORD — A man who failed to fulfill court-mandated inpatient addiction treatment while serving home detention has been ordered to serve a term in state prison, according to officials at Lawrence Superior Court II.
Judge Robert Cline sentenced 35-year-old Joshua K. Pickett to serve 849 days with the Indiana Department of Correction after revoking his home detention agreement for non-compliance.
On April 23, 2026, Pickett entered a negotiated plea agreement with the State of Indiana, pleading guilty to operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Level 6 felony, and a habitual vehicle substance offender enhancement
