INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana State Fair guests have chosen the winners for this year’s “Taste of the Fair” competition.
Indiana State Fair serves up nearly 50 new offerings for 2026
The annual contest asks visitors to choose their favorite food and beverage offerings at the event. It’s meant to shine a spotlight on creative and innovative fair food.
According to the public vote, here are the three 2026 selections that stood out among nearly 50 new offerings:
First Place | The S’Mork | Nitro Hog BBQ
The “S’Mork” is Nitro Hog BBQ’s sweet-and-smoky mashup of a classic s’more and slow-smoked pulled pork, served on a fried sugar biscuit.
Second Place | Pickle Pesto Pizza | Swains Concessions
Homemade dough with pesto added to the crust topped with mozzarella cheese, pickles and dill seasoning and cooked to perfection. You can add the pesto drizzle to the top or have it with their award-winning pickle ranch.
Third Place | Raspberry Sweet Tea Slushie | Colp’s Concessions
A refreshing blend of smooth sweet tea and juicy raspberry flavor, this Raspberry Sweet Tea Slushie is icy, bold, and perfectly sweet. Blended to a frosty finish and every sip delivers a crisp tea flavor with a burst of fruity goodness. Cool, refreshing, and made for warm fair days.
