Michigan-Indiana border to be retraced, last surveyed in 1827

CASS COUNTY, MI — Officials have approved work to remap the state border for the first time in nearly 200 years.

The Cass County Board of Commissioners approved a state grant and surveying contract to resurvey and place markers along the Michigan-Indiana border.
