INDIANAPOLIS — A juvenile has been pronounced dead following a Monday morning shooting on the north side of Indianapolis.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers with the department’s North District responded to the 600 block of W 39th Street at around 7:52 a.m. on Monday on a report of a person shot. This is near Crown Hill Cemetery.
When officers arrived, a juvenile was found with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. The juvenile was first reported to be in critical condition but was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
