INDIANAPOLIS (WKRC) – A mother allegedly made up a story about a drive-by shooting after her daughter accidentally shot herself with the mother’s unsecured gun.
According to court documents obtained by WTHR, officers responded to a report of a shooting at 5:45 p.m. on November 16, 2025. First responders arrived to find a 7-year-old girl suffering from gunshot wounds in a vehicle, the documents read.
