INDIANAPOLIS (WEVV) — Governor Mike Braun announced Monday the removal of Dubois County Sheriff Tom Kleinhelter from the Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board.
The decision follows a recommendation from Superintendent Anthony Scott, chair of the LETB, and comes in the wake of a failed settlement agreement. Kleinhelter, who served as a member of the board overseeing the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy, is currently facing multiple criminal charges in Marion County.
