INDIANAPOLIS — Police arrested a man after an alleged kidnapping and rape on the northeast side of Indianapolis on Saturday.
According to court records, officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 8600 block of Montery Road — near the intersection of 38th Street and Post Road — around 2:28 a.m. to take a report of a sexual assault. When officers arrived, they spoke with an individual who said they had been involved in an alleged kidnapping.
The individual told IMPD they had been walking along Montery Road when someone who was smoking made a remark to them in Spanish. According to court records, the person tried to brush off the comments and said they did not speak Spanish…
