Caitlin Clark suffered an injury scare on Thursday as the Indiana Fever lost a preseason game against Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings. Clark limped off the court in the third quarter and was not able to return.
The good news is that the injury wasn’t serious. Clark said after the game that she just landed hard on her kneecaps. The two-time All-Star was back on the court in Saturday’s preseason finale against the Nigerian Women’s Basketball Team.
Starting alongside Clark on Saturday night was offseason recruit Monique Billings. Unfortunately, the 6-foot-4 forward went down in the first half. She headed to the locker room after tweaking her right ankle, per Fever reporter Scott Agness.
