INDIANAPOLIS — Two firefighters were injured as they battled a large fire at an apartment complex on the southside of Indianapolis.
According to the Indianapolis Fire Department, crews arrived at a vacant structure at the Greentree Apartments located at Madison Avenue and Greentree Street around 12:19 p.m. after receiving calls reporting heavy smoke and fire.
The Greenwood Fire Department also assisted as the crews worked to get the fire under control.
