Defibrillators added to Zionsville’s Lions Park

Lifesaving medical devices have been added to Lions Park, thanks to a partnership between Zionsville Little League and the Zionsville Lions Club.

The two organizations pooled their resources together to purchase two defibrillators for the park. They were installed earlier this spring. One is located by the concession building, the other is by the Lions clubhouse.

Jerry Cheung, a Lions Club member who oversees safety at the park, said the idea to install defibrillators came from Zionsville Little League. The Lions Club was receptive to the idea, given the large crowds the park sees throughout the year during baseball season and popular events like July 4 fireworks…
