Thousands without power in Indiana

INDIANA — More than 3,200 customers across Indiana are currently without electricity Wednesday morning, according to PowerOutage.us.

As of the latest update, 3,238 homes and businesses statewide are experiencing active power outages. Indiana currently ranks seventh in the nation for the total number of outages and 10th nationwide for the percentage of customers affected.

Lake County has the highest number of outages in the state, with 942 customers currently without power. Sullivan County reported 507 outages, while Floyd County had 431. Monroe County reported 207 outages and Clark County had 121 Wednesday morning…
