These Indiana Parents Just Won the Last Day of School
I am all about summer break and of course, classic rock. I am also the only child, so anytime my parents had the opportunity to embarrass their kid, they only had one to embarrass. When I see a kid coming off a school bus ready to enjoy his summer vacation, and I see that he is greeted by his rockin’ parents (literally) in the driveway, I’ve got to talk about it.
A family in Indiana made sure their kid’s last day of school was completely unforgettable. When the bell rang and summer officially kicked off, these parents were waiting in the driveway with a full-on performance of Alice Cooper’s School’s Out for Summer. They weren’t just singing the song in the driveway; they were PERFORMING. Hair is wild like they’re in the 80s, they’re headbanging, drumming, swinging microphone stands, and even if they don’t have natural 80s hair anymore, then they’re wearing a wig.
My parents have always made certain days feel special, and there’s something about parents who go all out like this that just makes your whole day better. Whether they’ve been planning this since September or just woke up feeling rock and roll, the execution is absolutely perfect. This kid is going to be talking about this moment forever, and so are we…
