People in the Bull City gathered for the annual Durham Hunger Day. It’s a community celebration that raises awareness about food insecurity and the work being done to strengthen the city’s food system.
Durham Hunger Day has become a tradition dedicated to highlighting the need to support organizations meeting the demand for food. The theme for 2026, “Nourishing Neighbors,” showcased the many ways food brings people together through culture, community, and care.
