Momentum is building for one of Wake County’s most popular parks, as the Wake County Board of Commissioners on Monday, June 15, approved the schematic design for the Crowder County Park expansion. This decision paves the way for new trails, new facilities and new opportunities for residents to enjoy the outdoors.
“Monday’s approval brings us one step closer to transforming Crowder County Park into a more accessible, expansive natural resource,” said Safiyah Jackson, vice chair, Wake County Board of Commissioners. “This is an investment in our collective well-being — unlocking vibrant new trails, pristine habitats and unforgettable spaces for our families.”
