State transportation officials are reminding North Carolinians to stay alert around railroad crossings and know what to do in an emergency.
The message was highlighted during a BeRailSafe event in Apex on June 24 as part of the second annual National Emergency Notification System (ENS) Sign Awareness Day.
Representatives from the N.C.
