North Carolina town sues woman for using her land as off-campus parking for school

APEX, N.C. (WNCN) — A parking fight in Apex has moved from town hall to the courts.

The Town of Apex has filed a lawsuit against a property owner who for years has allowed Apex Friendship High School students to park on her land across from the campus and along busy Humie Olive Road.

The suit pertains to proper zoning for a business — private residential property versus commercial use.
