A 52-year-old Fayetteville man accused of shooting three women and attempting two carjackings in a single Sunday morning rampage is now facing scrutiny over his alleged ties to a nationally known street gang. Robert Page is identified in court records as a validated member of the Eight Trey Crips, according to Fayetteville police, though prosecutors say it remains unclear whether his violence that morning was directed by or done for the benefit of the gang.
The spree unfolded around 7 a.m. Sunday, August 30, starting on Messenger Street in Fayetteville, where Page allegedly shot his girlfriend and stole her car before driving to a Hardee’s and a Food Lion to attempt additional carjackings, according to Law & Crime.
