CARY, N.C. — Small business owners in North Carolina are trying to figure out what’s next following the abrupt closure of a national retailer.
Painted Tree Boutiques closed this week across the U.S., including four locations in the state: Raleigh, Cary, Gastonia and Matthews. It provided a space for vendors to sell their items and reach more people.
