CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A Massillon man will not go to prison at this time after pleading guilty to charges in an indictment related to a traffic death. 55-year-old Miguel Flowers was sentenced on Monday to probation, with a one-year prison sentence a possibility later if he violates the terms of his probation.

AKRON, Ohio – Akron Children’s Hospital on Monday announced it has received a $50 million gift–the largest in the hospital’s history, according to a news release. Philanthropist Tom Golisano made the unrestricted gift to the hospital. To commemorate Golisano’s generosity, the hospital will rename its Akron Campus the Akron Children’s Golisano Campus.
