MACUNGIE, Pa. - A contractor struck an underground gas line Tuesday afternoon, triggering a leak and prompting temporary evacuations in a Macungie neighborhood. UGI spokesperson John Mason tells 69 News the crew — not affiliated with UGI — was digging near 2074 Rolling Meadow Road around 3 p.m. when they hit the line.
