LAPEER COUNTY, MI – A 46-year-old Ypsilanti man died after his vehicle struck a tree and caught fire in a ditch near Otter Lake, police said. Troopers from the Michigan State Police Lapeer Post responded around 4:50 p.m. on May 13 to the crash on Hemingway Lake Road near North Lake Road.
