La Ru Bowling Center, a bowling alley long considered a staple of Highland Heights, announced its permanent closure in a Facebook post. La Ru, originally opened in 1958 by Bud Tedesco and John Langenbahn at 2443 Alexandria Pike, changed ownership several times before Kati and John Manning acquired it in October 2022.
