Trial underway for Cleveland woman accused of murdering man on city’s East side
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The trial for a Cleveland woman accused of fatally shooting a man in 2023, is underway in Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas. The jury was seated on Sept. 3. Cleveland police said Manija Downey, 30, shot and killed Cynquan Leggett, 27, on May 1, 2023.
